Not bad. The anticipation builds greatly, and the music adds to it. But if it were a few seconds longer, I would've probably closed the window. Good one.

good for beginners

You need to work on your icons, the hit area for the next and back buttons are a bit small. Also the over all red, is a bit too much. The movie size can also be be bigger, It gers a tad hard to read because of the "business" on the screen.

The tutorials aims at a beginning user and can be really helpful at this point. I think you chose the right subjects to cover the basics, good call.
